Of my current pets, I only remember my succubus with the fel orb from legion (they change names when you glyph them now) Nazriel. Haven't played that toon in years at this point (and even in mop only played it to get green fire) and my felhunter had one of those names that looks like a faceless one was speaking about the time it ate a keyboard and vomited out the keys randomly.I'm not sure a human would actually be able to pronounce it. I know I could tell you the names of almost all my first warlock's demons, but not any of the demons of the warlock I'm currently leveling. While I understand why class quests were dropped from an literal investment:return ratio, I think that earning certain skills through quests instead of just having them appear in one's spellbook has an unquantifiable value that attaches people more to their characters and makes the world feel more "real." You had a different quest giver, but the quest content was identical. Likewise for much of the Order hall stuff. The mage towers varied by spec, but also overlapped with like 5 other specs each doing the same challenge. It's just a gigantic waste of dev time making all the unique quests.Įven legion didn't really have "class quests" as much as you'd think from playing it. That'd mean 90% of the people already never see the content just by that metric. ![]() for warlocks, who are historically one of the least played classes (made up number is 10%). Making a warlock quest chain is all sorts of cool. ![]()
